This past month had its share of really good fishing around Hilton Head Island. I spent most of the month on the inshore waters chasing redfish and flounder. The redfish bite was especially good with most days in the double digits and many fish in the 8 to 10 pound range. We have been catching our fish on both spinning tackle and on the fly rod. In fact, some of our most exciting bites have come at the end of the fly rod. Moreover, the shrimp have been coming in good. We spent about 45 minuets the other day and caught 15 pounds of nice sized shrimp for dinner. The bull reds have also started to show up so that fishery seems to be getting off to a good start for the season. Until next time, catch em up! Captain Charlie
